We offer places for junior squash training sessions every Saturday from 2.00pm.

SSRC Junior Squash Coaching
Southgate Squash Club has a fabulous team of England Squash qualified coaches who are part of the of the Play Squash team, which provides Junior Squash coaching during term time and during the school holidays.

Up to 4 squash courts are dedicated to coaching children of all age groups with a wide ranging level of skills.

These sessions are open to members and non- members and provide coaching for 40+ children each week and have produced many of our best players over the years including Alison Waters and a number of juniors who are ranked in the top 20 in England.

Thursdays 4:30pm 5:30pm Beginners (7-11yrs) Technique, Practice, and Games
Thursdays 5:30pm 6:30pm Intermediate 11yrs+ Technique, Drills, and Fitness
Saturdays 1:15pm 2:00pm Tots Squash (2- 6 yrs)
Saturdays 2:00pm 3:00pm Beginners/New Players (7-11yrs)
Saturdays 3:00pm 4:00pm Beginners/Intermediate (11yrs+)
Saturdays 4.00pm 5:00pm Intermeidate/Advanced (11yrs+)

Young players of all levels are welcome to join these sessions. Junior coaching camps are also organised during school holidays. These are advertised well in advance on the junior notice boards and website. But book early, as places are snapped up quickly.

Important notice: All juniors (U19s) are required to wear clean non-marking soled trainers (no Astros or dirty outdoor footwear) and to wear eye protection whilst on court during coaching and matches. The SSRC will loan protective goggles during coaching, but it is highly recommended that regular players and participants purchase their own and are available from all reputable sports equipment suppliers.
